Der Deckel öffnet sich automatisch, wenn der Sensor ein Objekt in einem Bereich von 20 cm vom Mülleimer erkennt, und schließt sich automatisch, wenn der Abfall entsorgt worden ist. Der Eimer besteht aus einem Gehäuse aus Kohlenstoffstahl und einem starken ABS-Deckel, der langlebig und leicht zu reinigen ist. Es enthält einen Ring zur Sicherung des Beutels und außerdem kann der Deckel leicht abgenommen werden. Sie können den Sensor auch ausschalten, um den Deckel manuell zu öffnen und zu schließen.
